For as long as there have been humans, there has been human waste in its two basic forms. Throughout history various civilizations have dealt with this waste in a variety of fashions, some more successful than others. In many respects several ancient civilizations were far more adept at this than many more modern civilizations up until recent technological advancements. In an informative, interesting and entertaining lecture, Eric Shaw will illuminate his audience on a subject few think about in our affluent society but one that had a tremendous influence on the world over the past few thousand years. Tickets in advance are $12 and are available at CKtickets.com or by calling 519-354-8338. Tickets are also available at the door for $15. Refreshments are included.
